SeaSaltSeeSalt

You came crashing down
Took my breath and stung my eyes
A cleansing brine

I remember the taste
Remember the sound
As you came crashing, down and down

As I recovered
Began to dry
I felt you sticky, on my thigh

Another wave rolled in
And we crashed in two
Spread out, splashed back into you

Amazes me how we keep balance
On ever-shifting sands
By holding hands

In ever-rolling waves
Powerful you, powerful me
In the sea salt see

As I was reading it I could hear it as a song in my head. Those are well written lyrics. Did you invent them?

My first visit here, and what do I find but a stunning, sensual poem. I could feel the waves crashing down, and hear the tumult in a distant background.

Absolutely wonderful prose.

This poem is like a porn without words. Very cool poetry.

P.S I want to say hello to Servant Of The Most High. I see you're still spreading your slanderish spam.

A beautiful passage. It's amazing how many similarities there are between poems and songwriting, or even journal entries : ). Are you a musician? I think you could make some amazing lyrics, full of imagery and meaning.
